SLC Therapy believes in one program customized for each client. Our Applied Behavior Analysts (certified BCBAs, ABA Trainers, and Tutors), Occupational Therapists, and Speech Pathologist work as a cohesive group to create a program to support your child's learning and independence. Our OTs are distinguishing between sensory and behavior; our SLPs are working on oral motor, motor speech praxis, AAC, literacy, and language; our ABA team works on challenging behavior reduction, learning momentum, and daily living. ABA Therapists support the language based programming created by our SLPs. Our ABA team utilizes Pivotal Response Training, Verbal Behavior, and Discrete Trial Instruction. Our Teaching Paradigm is critical in programming and treatment toward independence.
Our programs are intensely implemented in an effort to promote and re-establish neural pathways and connections necessary for behavior and communication.
All of our clients benefit from our exceptional diagnostic and independent evaluations. Our evaluations provide not only standardized testing, but also inclusive of observations and learner profiles. We believe that regardless of the diagnosis, each client benefits from a profile of learner strengths and areas of improvement. With this profile, all learners will have a therapy team inclusive of school and parents who are able to strengthen learner weaknesses by capitalizing on learner strengths.
SLC Therapy also provides program and IEP development for both school districts and families.
