Early learners will focus on social behavior and classroom readiness. Learners within this group will learn small group learning behavior necessary for grades K-2. This group will be led by ABA Therapists, Speech Language Pathologist, and Occupational Therapists. Early learners will participate in group activities that include academic, social skills, behavior, and sensory fun!
The Early Learner PreK and Kindergarten groups can be used for learners who require more supports than a general education setting offers. The Early Learner class meets in AM and PM sessions. Classes are taught by certified teachers. OT, ST, and ABA therapists support children in "Putting Into Practice" the social play and communication skills. The Early Learner utilize the theoretical approach of Verbal Behavior and Natural Environment Teaching.
